Inspired by my great-grandmother's and my grandma's handmade quilts, I channeled their love of patterns and bright colors into my very own quilted love story using paint on canvas. I created more than 190 little mini paintings of my favorite people, places and memories using the symbolic double wedding ring pattern meaning love and romance. Not a traditional self portrait, but one nonetheless.
