Gabe Romer came to Art With Soul in 2023. Gabe has a little pep in his step. He loves pretzels, birds, outer space and the song Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. When given the choice, Gabe selects birds as his subject matter in his art. He works quickly and precisely, never needing an eraser. He draws lively birds with expressions that we can’t quite figure out. They are usually festive and happy and would make great illustrations for a children’s book. The birds are often labeled. Each with an expression that matches their description. Gabe often makes different bird like sound effects as he works. Gabe prefers to work in markers, colored pencils and watercolors. He wants others to see happy family and friends when they view his artwork.
