Daniel came to Art With Soul in 2018. Daniel likes to be addressed as Mr. Daniel Rodriguez Jr. and he will correct you when you don’t say it right. He likes all kinds of food, specifically shrimp and pizza. Daniel is excited to have a new art desk at home. He looks forward to the day when he has his own art building that looks like a factory on the outside with an art studio and gallery on the inside. Daniel works independently and his work can be characterized as thematic, colorful, dramatic and moody. His subject matter is often his own made-up characters or from his favorite movies, tv shows and musicals. His work will take you to the past, present and future. He has a burning desire to create art no matter what. It’s just inside of him. His favorite medium to work in is sharpie marker and watercolor brush pens. Creating art makes him feel wonderful and proud. He can’t wait to see his viewers’ reactions when they gaze upon his work. He is always thinking about what he wants to make next, with no shortage of ideas. His goal is to evoke the emotion of curiosity and surprise in his viewers. He hopes to get better at making puppets and have his own TV show someday.
