Braxton Beattie came to Art With Soul in 2018. Braxton enjoys video games and you tube. He enjoys different art mediums, including clay, collage and glass. He currently works primarily in cut glass. His subject matter is chosen by his client, himself or the Art With Soul staff. These may include seasonal themes, people, animals, things found in nature etc. He works from a printed or painted underlying template. He chooses the color of glass and cuts each piece by hand or with a tile saw. The glass pieces are placed and glued like mosaic on a prepared surface. He has created large glass windows, smaller framed work, bird baths and lanterns. He creates artwork to get a break from his regular weekly job. He finds creating artwork, satisfying, interesting, relaxing and peaceful. He wants others to feel however they want when they look at his work. He looks forward to trying new glass techniques in the future like glass fusing.
