Shining Swarovski crystals, colorful acrylic, and polished metal give "SkyDance" a light and airy feel... despite the sculpture being over 43' long! You can see this sculpture suspended from the ceiling of the Carpenter Recreation Center atrium.
This public art was commissioned as part of the City of Thornton's planned renovation and updates of the recreation center. Fresh carpet, fresh paint... fresh art!
"SkyDance" was created by Seth Palmiter of Motivated Metal, and was hung from the recreation center atrium in April 2024.
