Krista Jurisich has created a rich and colorful tapestry-like painting based on an aerial view of the Vieux Carre district of New Orleans, hence the name “View Carre.” Using a hard edge painting technique, the artist has produced an informative map of the this neighborhood’s streets and buildings.
