John “Jahni” Moore is a southern born visual artist and writer. His early years were immersed in books, church, and nature. He is a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a B.S. degree in Graphic Design, an M.Ed. in Art Education, and an M. F. A. in Interdisciplinary Art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As an educator, Moore taught art from kindergarten to the university level. He has created murals and public works from Chicago to Colombia South America. Currently he works out of his studio called the C.H.U.R.C.H. (Come Help Us Restore Cosmic Harmony).
