I had not acclimated to the altitude, so we decided to do the easy hike around Sprague Lake. In the afternoon, we saw a moose and her calf walking through the lake. We decided to go back for sunrise the next morning and, to our surprise, so did the moose. We now joke that she is on the payroll with the park service.
