Driving to our campground we noticed a sign for Monument Rocks; with our curiosity piqued, we headed off the next day to find them. In my research of the area, I had never seen anything about this chalk formation, which is caused by erosion. Photographically speaking, the rocks are boring at midday. But a storm was brewing that evening, so we headed back to find this beautiful sight.
