The longest natural sandstone arch in the world, Landscape Arch has a span of 306 feet and height of 130 feet. Located in the high desert of the semi-arid Colorado Plateau, Landscape Arch is formed of 200 million year old Entrada Sandstone and appears red due to the presence of oxidized iron. The dead tree branches closely mimic the arch shape.
