I am a native of Durham, NC, and a self taught artist, who began to draw at the early age of four. I started drawing simple cartoons from the newspaper cartoon section and soon expanded to drawing faces from magazine covers. During my years in Middle and High School, I was tagged with the title, “the kid that draws”. As a people and pet portrait artist, I work from photos and create my pieces in graphite, charcoal or pastels. There is one philosophy that I live by when it comes to my work, “it’s all in the details”, and one of my greatest rewards is the satisfied look on a clients face after seeing a finished piece.

Over the years, I have fine tuned my skills as a artist, producing incredible detailed works of children, family portraits, and that precious pet. To sum it all up, I really love to draw and also, grateful for the opportunity to create that special piece for a client.
