Keith Norval was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, earning his Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2000. Norval shares a studio with his wife - artist Anna Podris. He shows his work as a member of the City Market Artist Collective located in downtown Raleigh. He also teaches painting and printmaking at the Pullen Arts Center and summer camp at the North Carolina Museum of Art and Artspace. Norval and Podris have been busy bringing art to NC Public Schools through the Artists in the Schools program from the United Arts Council. Norval was awarded the Regional Artist Project Grant from the United Arts Council in 2003 and 2020, has painted murals at York Elementary in Raleigh, NC and at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. His work has been shown in Columbia, MO, Vail, CO, San Diego, CA, Greensboro, NC, Miami, FL and NYC. His work was featured on Raleigh City Buses, on the T-Shirt for the SPCA K9-3K Dogwalk and in the book "100 Southern Artists".
Keith's work is represented in Washington DC at Zenith Gallery.
