A self-taught artist, I rediscovered painting during medical residency when I was noticing early signs of burn out. Painting initially started as a way for me to recharge and regroup after a long work week, but has since evolved to become a true passion hobby.

Most of the paintings in this exhibit were painted after I gave birth to my second child, during my maternity leave. Those twelve weeks were a wonderful time, spent between getting to know my little newborn while also carving out some time to paint. I hope you enjoy the paintings that came out from this time as much as I enjoyed making them!
