Women's Suffrage

The Women's Suffrage mural honors the advocates who helped grant suffrage to the women of Wyoming, as part of the state’s commemoration of the 150th anniversary of women’s suffrage. The mural is painted on the west side of the building on the southeast corner of 17th Street and Carey Ave. at the site where the first Wyoming Territorial Legislature passed the resolution that granted women the right to vote. The mural was the result of a partnership between the City of Cheyenne and Visit Cheyenne.
