Whenever I fly, I always request a window seat.

Soaring like a bird, I love the view of the earth below me. Fields, forest, lakes and rivers all become shapes of color and value. Everything looks simplified and connected – like a jigsaw puzzle.

The Land of Lakes mosaics were created from a variety of tile and broken dinnerware. By mixing the materials I was able to choose from a wide range of colors and work with multiple patterns and textures.
