Inside page: Will. Grace. Time. Self Love. Trust. Beauty. These last few pages have been difficult to finish as I wrap up a year, I wrap up all the experiences in it. I don't know why a number suggests a fresh start in the world. 2021-2022, other than pressing me to remember dates on things. This transition falls in winter, when so much of the world is in hibernation, in shutdown, in curling into blankets or warm drinks. This year will be about trusting that "close down" for the year and the way it allows me to fill the well once again. Reenergize myself and my life for the spring. <3 E
Lost Journal Pages made for the Brooklyn Art Library Sketchbook Project: I spent part of the pandemic and beyond working with pen, ink, paper, and watercolor within my journal. When finished, I scanned it, put it into a priority mail envelope, and mailed it to the organization. It never arrived, and when my project never showed in their inventory list, I dug out the scanned files to send to them. This is one of the pages from that lost journal (destroyed, stolen, lost?). Available only as a print upon request.
