The pattern is inspired by the mosaic decoration of the Al-Samad Complex in Nantaz, Iran,
originally built in 999AD and later expanded to house the body of the Sunwardi Sufi master
Al-Samad in 1299. The painting is textured to create a rhythmic refraction of light, producing
a subtle mirroring effect. Deep blues echo the void, while delicate strokes of yellow and
magenta lift over the veil, guiding the viewer toward a sense of spiritual presence and
contemplative depth.
