This painting explores the spiritual journey of meditation and zikr through a sevenfold geometric structure inspired by a 13th-century arch panel from the mausoleum of Imam Yahya ibn al-Qasim in Mosul.

Rooted in Qur’anic symbolism, the heptagonal form evokes completeness, infinity, and the layered nature of existence. Drawing on Islamic alchemical thought and Sufi mysticism, the work reflects inner transformation — from darkness to light — where geometry becomes a metaphor for the purified heart and the continuous journey of the soul.
