White Rock’s mid-century and older “cottage houses” have largely disappeared as the march of time leads to their replacement. This project brings together a diverse group of local artists to capture many of those that remain to celebrate their charm and humble persistence in our community. Disappearing White Rock is sponsored by the Plein Air Art Society and is a collaboration between Greg Smith who mounted an exhibit of these works at his home in the summer of 2021 and Charlene Garvey, Curator at the White Rock Museum & Archives.
