Title: 70 Faces of Torah
The letter Ayin (ע) has the numerical value of 70. Our sages explain the meaning of the rule “there are seventy faces to the Torah” ( שבעים פנים לתורה ), that there are 70 ways to interpret the Torah. This design sets out to capture the concept with a border of 70 letters surrounding a multi-faceted, irid-colored glass mosaic of the letter Ayin.
