Hand-coloured platinum print of George Frederick Watts' work "Love Triumphant". The original is in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Time and Death lie defeated a the feet of Love, who spreads his wings in triumph. Hollyer's signature is in the bottom right corner.

The piece was first exhibited in 1896 and Hollyer was granted a copyright for this photograph in March 1897.

Hollyer advertised his platinotype reproductions in "The Studio" and "International Studio" magazines in the 1890's in London and in the USA. The advert shown ran in the 1898 issue of the International Studio". This piece was framed by Jordan Marsh Company, the first department store in Boston, MA, and their original label - promising "HIGH CLASS PICTURE FRAMING" - is attached to the backboard.

Photograph is 7.75"x13.5" in a 9"x15" original deco carved and painted wooden frame.
