"I am a fine art photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. I work primarily with large format cameras and alternative processes. I have been making images for almost 20 years. It is one of the great passions of my life.

My preferred subject matter is people, primarily nudes and still lifes. I believe that the making of meaningful art is all about life? it?s about being human? it?s about the human condition and all its triumphs and tragedies. The goal of art is to bring meaning to life. My work is primarily about intimacy, which I define as the deep desire that we all have to know and be known by others. My artistic journey has been a search for that intimacy and is as much about the process as it is the end result for me.

My photographic influences are Edward Weston, Wynn Bullock, Yousuf Karsh, Ralph Gibson and Jock Sturgis."
