Albert Holl (1890–1970) was a German engraver, medalist, and sculptor. He studied at the State School for Precious Metals and moved to Paris. He then attended the Munich School of Applied Arts before the war and then post-war studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He later taught at the State Higher School for Precious Metal Crafts in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Best known as the designer of the iconic Silberadler 5-DM coin in 1951, Holl was also a highly regarded sculptor and created several large works which are still on public display today.
