One day, following several years of drought, a deluge had suddenly soaked our land. The steelhead returned to spawn and the river otter swam in playful circles. To document my elation, I found myself wanting to draw a waterfall. I pictured displaced jellyfish floating upstream to discover the purity of fresh water. Change was swift and the possibilities were endless … for a fleeting moment.
