This painting was the final one in a series of four small watercolours and I needed something to 'tell a story'. Stumped, I went for a walk along the cliffs. When I spotted some beautiful feathers on the path I knew I had my story.
Mounted on a gallery panel, the finish on this original watercolour is a translucent compound that acts as a protective matte topcoat. It seals and provides UV protection without compromising the original colours and eliminates the glare of glass between you and your painting. The 6x6 size is also just right perching on a shelf.
