Parker has worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, New York, and now Marin County, CA. She is a graduate of Brown University, where she earned a BA with honors, and she completed one year of graduate study at Yale University School of Art in the MFA Graphic Design program. Parker is self-taught in fine arts. 

Parker’s work is in numerous public and private collections and she shows regularly in galleries and national juried exhibitions. Her paintings have been included in such magazines as Sunset, Luxe and CA Home and Design, and she has been profiled on CBS Bay Channel 5. Online, her work has been featured on such sites as Saatchi Art and HuffPo. In 2015, Parker did a three month residency at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts.
