This piece was originally another highly textured collage painting that I painted over. I didn't know if I could start over since I had to remove parts of the other painting, but, it worked! This painting much better reflects the arena I enjoy playing in as an artist. Apparently, I can always start again. :)

This piece plays with abstraction, focusing on ambiguity and movement. The figure at the center is only partially defined, which I hope sparks curiosity and encourages people to interpret it in their own way. I used muted colors for an ethereal, dreamlike vibe, and the textured background adds depth and layers of meaning without giving too much away—leaving room for your imagination.
