🌱 “A tree can only be as strong as the forest that surrounds it.” – Peter Wohlleben
Lately, my brain has been one giant forest. Ever since my trip to Carmel and Big Sur, I’ve been obsessing over trees. Like, full ADHD hyperfocus mode. I listened to The Hidden Life of Trees on the drive, and now I swear they’re speaking to me. They’re in my dreams, my art, my every waking thought. Trees, trees, more trees! 🌲🌴🌳
This is the first in my Mesmerized by Trees series—where roots tangle with memories, branches whisper secrets, and faces emerge from the bark like ancient spirits. Maybe I’m painting them because I want to feel as steady, as deeply connected. Or maybe I just have tree brain now. 🌳🤔
