Hand drawn with collage, ink and watercolor, then printed on heavyweight textured art paper and framed. Hedy was the inspiration and star of my solo exhibit, "Pardon Me While I Blaze Some Trails," featuring 12 artworks I created of and about inspiring women.
Hedy Lamarr is the trailblazer who inspired me to create my project about women trailblazers, Pardon Me While I Blaze Some Trails. If you can stomach it, watch this 1969 interview where Merv wants to talk about a nude scene she did when she was 18, and she clearly doesn’t want to talk about it. This brilliant woman invented technology that is currently used in wifi and bluetooth.
