I see you!

This painting is part of the growing collection of smaller works. I have developed a real love for painting these smaller works. They feel quite personal yet there's a nice lightness of character which I hope you'll take from this. Light has been a big subject for me this year for a couple of reasons. Firstly because of the second studio space I opened in Athens, Greece where the light has a magical quality and changes the way I want to use colour and incorporate light into my work. But I have also started working with the renowned professor of cognitive neuroscience Anil Seth and his lab at the Sussex Centre for Consciousness Science. Discussions and strobe light experiments have led to many studies, notes and paintings that explore light and consciousness.
