Artist Anne Ward is dedicated to creating paintings that inspire rooms. She loves to make paintings that create calm, provide hope, and resonate with enthusiasm. Anne always dreamed of becoming a painter and decided to pursue painting after working for a Hollywood writer/director on several films. It was while living in France that Anne discovered the thrill of painting outdoors with an easel and returned home fully devoted to the pursuit of painting. Anne is primarily self taught and has been painting and showing her work for the over 30 years. Anne is a Signature Member of California Art Club and an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America. Her paintings reside in many private collections. Her great joy aside from teaching, is growing food and flowers in her yard where she lives and paints with her husband, writer/painter Ian Roberts.
