Dancing Diva

My friend's very spirited filly, Hop, would hoon around the arena as we rode our horses. She did a crazy 'dance' which included bucking, farting, galloping and then putting on the breaks at the last second. Such a little diva! The photo reference was taken in that beautiful evening light and had a stunning glow on her. I decided it would be a gorgeous one to do with a bit of artistic license, really pushing the glow. I attempted this in coloured pencils and was surprisingly happy with the outcome.
