"Intersecting Illusions" invites viewers into a captivating realm where geometry and abstraction merge. This piece presents a vertical story set against warm hues of yellow and ochre. Scattered across the surface, small rectangles and squares in blue, brown, black, and white create a balanced chaos. Black circular lines weave dynamically through the forms, captivating the gaze.Toward the bottom, a white, crisscross pattern adds texture, contrasting the fused glass's smoothness. This art metamorphoses in a kiln, where abstract enamel paintings transform under intense heat, adding depth and texture. "Intersecting Illusions" mesmerizes with its intricate interplay of forms and hues, inviting deeper exploration into its creation. It is adhered to a 24"x6"x2" whitewashed wood panel and ready to hang.
I added my signature glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the panel which mimics the front and adds interest.
