I painted the background design of “Generous” using enamels created specifically for kiln fusing on art glass. Once I was satisfied with the background design, I began to add layers of small glass pieces to the surface, along with red/orange transparent glass, standing on edge. All of these glass elements add texture and definition to this abstract design. What do you see? I added a painted glass design (tattoo) on the whitewashed side of the block which mimics the front and adds interest.

The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides.
