I painted the background design of “Fading Light” using enamels created specifically for kiln fusing on art glass.  I love the combination of light and dark blues and the pinks and purples.  Once I was satisfied with the background design, I began to add layers of small glass pieces to the surface, along with a dreamy gold glass, standing on edge.  All of these glass elements add texture and definition to this abstract design. The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel.  The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
