I painted the background design of “Desert Sun” using enamels created specifically for kiln fusing on art glass. Once I was satisfied with the background design, I began to add layers of small glass pieces to the surface, along with red/orange transparent glass, standing on edge. All of these glass elements add texture and definition to this abstract design. What do you see?

The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel.  The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
