After the Rain is an abstract landscape in my Glasscapes series. This piece was created and sent to a gallery on the East Coast that represents me. Damage to the piece occured during shipment. There was several cracks to the surface and two places on the raised gold glass design were broken. Once returned to me I thought I might be able to complete enough repairs to hide most of the damage. I created two draped glass pieces to hide the damage to the raised golden pieces and that damage is completely hidden. All of the larger damaged places have been hidden with additional glass designs on the surface. However, you should know that it is not perfect and in the right light, and if closely examined, you can still see cracks in the glass surface. 

As a result of the damage to After the Rain, I am discounting it's price by 50%, originally $450, now $225, and including free shipping.

The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “tattoo” to the side of the panel. The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
