Anna Teiche is a painter based in Seattle, WA. She holds an MFA in Painting & Drawing from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BFA in Art & Design from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She grew up outside of Seattle, and spent much of her childhood exploring the woods and ocean around her home, making observations and memories which still influence her work. Her work has been exhibited nationally in spaces such as the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (WA), The Boston Museum of Art (MA), The Visual Arts Center (TX), GrayDUCK Gallery (TX), and Unsmoked Systems (PA), among others. She has received project grants from the Dallas Museum of Art (2023), and Artist Trust (2019), and attended residencies including Vermont Studio Center, NES (Iceland), and Rockland Woods (WA).
