This piece is inspired by the Texas landscape and titled after the song "Snake in the Grass" by The Black Angels.

Every day I take my dog for a walk and notice something new about the landscape. These walks are like moving meditations that allow me to notice things within and outside of myself. This particular piece is about the feeling of sorting through old betrayals and finding clarity. This painting reflects turning frustration and disillusionment into color, rhythm, and new growth.
