This piece was created on raw unstretched canvas using a mix of fluid paint and dying techniques along with brushwork to build up layered textures. Titled after the song Science Killer by The Black Angels, it carries a heavy and expansive energy.
The raw canvas absorbs and softens the paint, creating blurred edges and unexpected forms. It’s a mix of control and release.
This piece is part of a collection of paintings inspired the visceral expressions that are created by music. Through this body of work I aim to give form to these experiences through color and movement.
