Hand stitched with appliqué and acrylic inks on vintage linen dyed with avocado, leaf prints are hammered into the fabric. My characters are mostly taken from early to mid 1900’s children’s book illustrations. There is an innocence on the surface and something more macabre and ambiguous going on with a closer look.
