ann currey
Chattanooga, TN
Contemplative landscapes representing my life, travels and dreams.
MessageThrough her grandmother’s influence Ann has been interested in art from a young age and began painting in 2006 taking a watercolor class. Since her initial watercolor class, Ann has been fortunate to study with several notable artists.
While studying under different artists has provided guidance, it is Ann's travels in the United States, and Europe that have helped develop her more fully as an artist in search of inspiration.
Currently Ann's preferred medium is oil and she always enjoys experimenting with color. As her work evolves she continues to explore different subject matter while maintaining the perspective that invites viewers into her mind's eye.
