Hashi means both the sun and the moon in Chickasaw. It both rises and sets, a beginning that is also an end. My work is influenced by both the motifs of Mississippian and Southeastern (Chickasaw, Choctaw, Cherokee) Tribal styles as well as the deconstructed, simplistic styles of modern western art.

  • Subject Matter: Modern Indigenous
  • Collections: Smalter Art - Smaller Art
