This piece represents an early evening in Arizona – with the blue to blackening sky - in a playful way, with stylized cacti (ocotillo, barrel, and prickly pear), a roaming blue javelina, a blue owl on the cactus, and shooting blue stars. I live across the road from a rocky and hilly desert park, which was my inspiration for this piece.
