Inspired by the Jim Whittaker Wilderness, a Wilderness area located in the suburbs of Seattle. I love to go here for a quick escape, a mini refresh in the woods. The trail is short but steep, within a few minutes the sound of cars disappears, and you are fully surrounded by old growth trees. This drawing was done on-site, at the entrance to the trail...right before it starts to climb.
Drawn with the highest-quality oil pastels on archival cold press watercolor paper.
Signed on back of piece as well as back of frame
