Amarachi Okafor raises disturbing yet pertinent questions that plague us a peoples and society.
Questions such as: what kind of a society are we? What kind of a society would we prefer to be? What are we teaching all members of our societies today? How do we go about these? Are we a developed society? Do we build trust? Do we extend care? Do we render help? Do we have respect for each other and constituted authorities? Are we fair in our dealings? With Nigeria and Indonesia for example, colonial domination changed us but as a people, what is original or indigenous about us? Through
this work, Okafor invites the audiences to participate in relational painting activities with thoughts on in-depth significance of learning, its processes, and content.
Participants will deliberate and relate with one another, and respond to issues by writing on canvas set up by the artist.
