What the Light Held is the anchor of this collection—a piece that traces how light weaves through tangled branches and somehow holds it all in place. The branches appear chaotic, yet the light reveals order and meaning. Fruit so often stands in for human experience in my paintings-fragile, fleeting, never fully in our control-and what remains is trust that the light holds it all together.
