Edges of Plenty
Oil on linen
From the What the Light Held series.
The Edges of Plenty is about abundance held within boundaries. Thick orange lines press branches to the edge, reminding me that fullness requires limits-that plenty isn't beyond the edge but found within. This painting admits that boundaries, though sometimes uncomfortable, can also be places of freedom and transformation. The pulsing orange becomes both barrier and energy, holding life in while letting it grow into something new.
