My husband brings in a small radio so we can catch the weather, a snowfall was predicted to come the next day 4 to 18 inches in high elevation. So I spent most of the day collecting wood and sticking them under trees and tucked it close to our tents to keep it dry through the storm. I did however pull off to paint a small quik painting about 50ft from camp. We did end up with a possible 4 inches scattered through the next day and night but melted and warmed up almost instantly just enough moisture for us to feel safe to make a fire for some extra atmosphere and cooking.
