Allison Findeiss-Becker (Ally Bee)
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Ally Bee is a South Florida artist creating textured, water-inspired abstractions that transform emotion and coastal energy into calm, connected movement.
MessageAlly Bee is a multidisciplinary artist and surface pattern designer whose work explores the relationship between motion, emotion, and environment. Rooted in textured acrylic and layered abstraction, her paintings translate the rhythms of water, light, and landscape into sculptural surfaces that invite both reflection and energy.
Based in South Florida, Ally draws deep inspiration from the Atlantic Ocean, coastal ecosystems, and the vibrant pulse of her surroundings. Her signature ridged textures and sweeping gestures echo tidal movement, rainfall, and the quiet force of natural cycles. Through repetition and flow, she creates visual meditations on balance—where strength and softness coexist.
Her artistic journey was profoundly shaped while caring for her father during his battle with dementia and aphasia. During that season, painting became both grounding practice and emotional release. What began as a coping mechanism evolved into a philosophy: art as therapy, art as resilience, art as legacy. That experience continues to inform her commitment to creating work that uplifts spaces and tells stories of hope, endurance, and connection.
Beyond fine art, Ally Bee extends her paintings into licensing-ready surface patterns for elevated product collections—bridging gallery, design, and everyday life. Her work embodies what she calls Zenful Luxury: calm, movement, and emotional presence expressed through layered abstraction.
Through each piece, Ally invites viewers to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember that we are part of something larger—an interconnected rhythm of light, water, and time.
Statement
My work explores movement, light, and the emotional architecture of space. Through layered paint, mirrored forms, and rhythmic gesture, I examine how energy travels — through water, memory, and lived experience. I approach the canvas as a spatial environment rather than a flat surface, building compositions that feel immersive and kinetic. My circular canvas pieces function as portals, inviting viewers into a continuous dialogue between motion and stillness, presence and reflection.
Water serves as both subject and metaphor in my practice. Its fluidity challenges fixed systems and reshapes boundaries over time, positioning power as dynamic, experiential, and continually evolving. Ultimately, my work is about transformation — of space, identity, and the self — expressed through movement, light, and layered abstraction.
